Water Conservation. It's For Life.

Favorite way to spend free time:

I like to volunteer, read and travel.

Favorite national park:

Favorite flower, plant or tree:

Mango and Jackfruit

My thoughts on my garden:

I love the fact that I have drip irrigation and water-wise garden and therefore conserve water and not waste it with the sprinklers (runoff).

What people tell me about my garden:

People love my garden and the different colors and textures throughout various seasons.

What surprises people most about my water-wise landscaping?

That it is very easy to take care of and still looks beautiful. In fact, I do not have a gardener who mows, blows and goes. Instead, I spend time in the garden weeding and pruning.

What I like most about my water-wise garden:

I like that there is no wastage of water and the easy maintenance.

Saving water is important because…

…we live in a desert and we need to save and share water for agriculture. Water is a natural and scarce resource and therefore we need to conserve it. We are borrowing this planet from future generations and therefore need to leave it a better place than when we inherited it. We cannot abuse mother earth.
