Samrrah’s thoughts on her garden:

“Every garden is different, but each one is a joy. Do what you feel works, do what makes you feel good. Minimize the use of pesticides and fertilizers. Irrigate only when needed and in a responsible manner. Drip irrigation works wonders and saves hundreds of gallons of water and dollars per year.”

Saving water is important because….

…in California we only get water falling in the winter. We depend on snow melt to keep our rivers flowing and those rivers have to provide for household water needs, agriculture and nature. Let’s just use what we need.
