Water Conservation. It's For Life.

Occupation:

Teacher

Favorite way to spend free time:

Chaperoning my three teens around, visiting with friends and being outdoors.

My hero:

My father, who had all the patience in the world to teach me to care for our garden and plants while I asked all those crazy questions about bugs that kids ask. He taught me to love the outdoors and care for it.

Recommended garden book:

“12 Lessons on Life I Learned From My Garden,” by Vivian Elizabeth Glych.

Saving water is important because…

…we all need it, but carelessly using it affects us all, especially in California. Learning new ways to conserve it, whether inside or outside the house, in creative and inspiring ways, will benefit our state, while beautifying it using plants that are drought-resistant, and inspire our neighbors to get involved in conserving water, because it is important.
